- Discussing the customs issues for shipping the ADCs
- Paul had reached out to the OU business services people; they couldn't give a detailed suggestion other than starting to work with the shipper to start the customs estimation
- Paul had found that there is a process to be able to import "scientific instrumentation" duty exempt. Bob will try to talk with the JLab purchasing folks to see if they are familiar with that process
- Failing that, there may be funds in the NSF DAQ budget that could pay for the duty, but Paul would need to discuss it with Mark
- Michael reports that the vendor has received the ADC order. They will produce 5 boards and send them to Manitoba for a quick sanity check, then produce the rest of them. The turn time is ~22 days, so the full production would likely be complete in about 2 months.
- Neither Bryan nor William have an update. Bryan had sent a firmware patch to Bryerton a month or so ago, but is not sure if that had been incorporated in the firmware repo.
- Michael is in communication with Bryerton to transfer the git repo to Michael. And then we'd be sure that it also went to the JLab repo server
- Bryan says that the next issue to be debugged is the acknowledge return to the TI, and then the data transfer
- We should verify if we're happy with Armen's final version of the chassis layout.
- Arindam has been working on cleaning up the test lab DAQ space
- Hall A techs will come to the test lab early next week to help moving racks and crates to match how we want the space to be set up
- Paul will be at JLab next Thursday and Friday to upgrade the CHA parity DAQ crate
