- Activity updates
- Michael has everything set up to test the new prototype ADC modules, but hasn't started with the tests. The tests ought to go fairly quickly once he can get started
- Discussion of the chassis changes: the modified chassis has the holes on the backplane just a little too tight, so those should be made slightly bigger
- We'll get one prototype to JLab to check on the fit with a new chassis
- There may be small layout changes between the prototype-2 and production boards, if so there would be another revision of the chassis
- Michael has a few notes of changes to make in the specification document; he plans to get them into the Overleaf doc very soon, then Bob and Paul will discuss with him.
- Bryan has a good amount of the configuration part of the driver working well. For the TI data readout, Bryan and William will discuss if there is a DMA option or if it would be accessed by single register accesses. Bryan, William, and Bryerton discuss, and the TI data is being passed to the ADC part of the firmware and should be packaged into the data stream with the ADC data.
- Bryerton has been working on another project recently, but will come back to MOLLER when we have the full specification document.
- Bob mentions that we have put in a space request for shared DAQ test-stand space between MOLLER and SOLID
- I mention the module procurements: TID module order has been placed; SD cards and FADC module procurements are coming soon.
- Chris asks if the May shutdown would be a convenient time to do the fiber run from the hall to the counting house. He'll also be following up with Ciprian about that.
- I ask about the fiber runs for the detector-to-DAQ-bunker connections (GEM and HVMAPS): Chris says it is likely easier/cheaper to have those run & terminated by a contractor rather than running pre-terminated fibers by the JLab staff
- Michael, Bob, Chris, and Paul should follow up about that
