- Activity updates
- Daryl has no new report. Bryerton is on vacation this week.
- Michael has not yet started testing the 2nd prototypes yet, but plans to do that in the next week. Part of the delay has been getting a new PoE switch
- We discuss what switch we might want for use in the hall; Daryl and Paul will send Michael some suggestions for discussion
- Digital beam monitor project
- Bob has been able to read the digital stream from the receiver when he injects various RF powers into it. He is seeing a lot of noise at the higher
- Dustin reiterates what he had reported at the end of the year: the 5.6V DC-DC converters seem to be more radiation resistant. He's happy to do more testing if needed.
- KK would like to have a meeting with Michael and Dustin about the DC-DC converter radiation studies and what to do for the experiment
- Bill Li mentions that they are working on setting up the GEM test stand at Stony Brook
- General discussion
- Space needs for test stands at JLab
- Planning for two new test stands, one for polarimetery and one for the integrating DAQ tests.
- Bob says we just need to come up with a plan for how much space we need, and that Walt Akers was pretty optimisitic about finding space for us.
- Hanjie mentions that she will be helping Sayak to set up the UMass test stand to do the detector segment testing.
