  • The new ADC board powers up on PoE++ and boots correctly. Daryl found that there had been an incorrectly specified resistor that needed to be fixed to be able to properly communicate with the PoE switch. All the power supplies are looking good. Daryl has not yet checked the actual ADCs yet; he expects to do that soon.
    • The front panel is the same, except the USB-A connector has been changed to a USB-B connector. This would need a modification of the front panel.
    • The SD card has been moved, and it is a vertical insertion socket. This one does have a latching mechanism.
    • Daryl expects to be done with the tests by the middle of next week, and then we'd be ready to move forward
    • We should add standoffs below the card, especially under the FPGA module
  • Discussion of the Integration ADC readout
    • Bryan asks if the module has the capability to trigger off of the TI input; Michael and Daryl think that it has been implemented
    • Daryl would like us to have tested triggering from the TI (instead of the external trigger) before we commit to the full production.
    • We should finalize our discussions of what we want in the integration mode outputs
  • Bryan has compiled the firmware as provided by Bryerton. A majority of the interface is done through zeromq, which CODA can use also. CODA would act like the remote client that Michael has been using but would be running on the local CPU. He thinks that no firmware changes would be needed.
    • Bryan thinks that he should have a CODA readout working by the end of the year
    • Michael asks how the system would be booted.
      • Bryan says that for running in the hall, just the uboot binary would be on the SD card and the image and device tree would be served remotely
      • For stand-alone systems they will put a CODA image on the SD card
  • Dustin has received the new PMT bases. He has beam test days scheduled: Nov 30 and Dec 7. Would slowly dose one base
    • Before the dose testing he'll do a gain calibration of the bases
