Recording on Zoom: [1]
Participants: S. Malace, P. King, R. Conaway, R. Michaels, B. Moffit, K. Dehmelt, R. Fair, C. Ghosh, S. Tarafdar, D. Armstrong, D. McNulty
- Simona: She has a PMT+LED system setup to generate triggered data in the FADC in the test stand.
- So far has been taking the waveform with a window of 60 samples
- Next step will be to set up the triggering with the VTP
- She will also be working with David to set up a test for the pion detector
- I report that our VTPs ought to be arriving at JLab soon, if they haven't arrived already. I'm checking with Ben to see if he has received them yet.
- I had not finished the checks of the VXS crate, CPU, and TI to be sent to Stonybrook; I hope to have that finished and the system on the way to them before the next meeting
- Sourav asks if Stonybrook could get a TI-pcie card in the meantime before we get the VXS system to them; I'll check with Chris if there are some available to be lent to them
- Bob: status of the BCM/BPM digital receiver digital readout
- Bryan asks what the rate of the digital signal out of the receiver box; it is slower than what we would need to resolve the spin-flip, but Bob hopes that if he can demonstrate the integration with the lower data transmission rates that will help motivate improvements in the receivers' digital outputs
- Klaus asks about the status of the LBNL digital BCM receivers
- What is their status? Klaus says he was approached by one of the folks involved to get some guidance on how much MOLLER want to have these, in light of their budget issues
- The SBS GEMs are out of the test stand, and the MOLLER GEM DAQ is back there since yesterday.
