  1. (David)low-energy gammas mainly coming from somewhere in beam dump, at least in present simulation. How? Why does the simulation see no 511 keV annihilation gammas? Looks like source may be the beam diffuser - need to overlay the present vertices plot with better map of the dump geometry. Some ideas - a standalone simple GEANT4 of just the water in the beam dump, to see what the flux of backward-going low-energy gammas is (order of magnitude).
  2. (Kate) initial results suggest that addition of 8% radiation length scintillator does not make much difference to our optics data.
