  • Status of the specification document
    • Still about about where we were last meeting. Paul, Bob, and Michael will try to get this wrapped up next week, if we can.
  • Bryerton is still working on the QSFP data port. He is still having some issues, but has set up a transceiver test so he knows the issue isn't the QSFP hardware on the board. His external switch has a SFP+ port, and the adapter might be the issue.
  • Daryl is away on vacation
  • Brynne reports on the crosstalk tests. She's seeing the leakage is less than 4e-7 of the input asymmetry on the adjacent channel.
    • She'll be going through all of the channels and their neighbors
  • The test lab space has been set up, and Bob and Arindam have started getting the rack, crate, and server set up there.
    • The CC is ordering a 24-port Gbit switch for the test lab space
    • Paul will work on getting a few VXS and CPUs sent down to them
  • Michael brings up an issue from the Compton meeting: what sort of data acquisition solution is going to be used for the HVMAPS
    • A. Cammsomme suggested that a set of VTPs could be used to read out. Alex had thought that Ben R. knew how have the VTP talk to the low power transceivers the HVMAPS are using. The Compton meeting will be reaching out to Ben about that.
  • Jaydeep says that Bill Li had gotten an email that the MPD that have needs to be returned. Bill will follow up with Bob to see if the loan can be extended. If not, we should talk with Nilanga about getting an MPD from UVa.
