- The VME crates that we would be using for the MPDs will arrive at JLab next week or so. Paul will also be arranging the VXS crate shipment from OU next week.
- Simona has the VTP trigger code for the SPE detection is loaded. She needs to recheck the FADC timing, and then she would take data, and then would test the cosmic trigger
- She will be focused on this activity next week
- The analyzer is kind of slow; Simona will reach out to Arindam and Paul to take a look and see if we can improve the performance.
- David suggests starting to meet about the counting analysis
- There is the Monday 11:30 analysis meeting
- We may need a smaller meeting with David, Chandan, and Simona to identify goals for the analysis
- On Monday, keep the analysis meeting at 11:30, but see if we cna shift to 12:00 to avoid conflict with the GEM hardware meeting.
- The analysis meeting announcements go out to moller_analysis@jlab.org
- David
- To login to the DAQ machine at W&M we'll need to login through a "jump box"
- David had guessed that six people would need to connect. They would need an affiate account at W&M, and there is a process to do that.
- Who would need access? Paul, Arindam, Ryan (?), Bryan, Bob, Michael, Brynne?, Chandan, Simona
- Brynne is going to have an account anyway because she will be at W&M
- David had guessed that six people would need to connect. They would need an affiate account at W&M, and there is a process to do that.
- We should look into what JLab would suggest for transferring data from W&M to JLab.
- Actually Sayak thinks that the fADC data ought to be small enough that we can just use scp for the
- What about access to the W&M high-bay?
- During business hours, David or Brynne would be able to let people into the high bay
- Sayak thinks that we would be able to run the cosmic tests without having someone there all the time
- Michael says there is a lot of detector optimization that would require access
- To login to the DAQ machine at W&M we'll need to login through a "jump box"
- How do we want to configure the networking for the DAQ? We'd probably have five devices on network, the host PC, VXS crate, integrating ADC, HV supply, LV supply. Would these all be directly on the W&M network or behind another firewall?
- How many racks do we need? Probably one standard rack is enough
- Bryan: for the test lab set up, is there a place to put the MOLLER ADCs?
- Bob says that yes there is space in our test lab set up.
- The DAQ lab setup for the MOLLER ADC will need to move next week, but the test lab space is not quite ready
- We won't have a meeting on July 5, so the next meeting will be July 19
