• Sayak: he now has the MPD readout working, after a firmware downgrade. He is starting to work on the decoder, and will check with Chandan to get the PREX2 code as an example
• Paul: Ryan has a preliminary design in Vitus for the VTP. We need to talk with Ben about how best to move forward, whether to continue to make Ryan's design more sophisticated, or if we'd need Ben's help
• Dustin: when he illuminates a PMT (instrumented with one of the irradiated bases) with an LED he sees small pulses out-of-time from his LED pulse. Michael thinks it might just be thermal noise from the PMT, but Dustin thinks the rate is higher than he would expect from that.
  • We discuss a few tests to characterize the noise
• Dustin: Discussing the cables for the PMTS. The counting mode signal cables we plan to borrow from SBS would be BNC terminated; the FADCs have Lemo inputs, so we'd need to have a BNC-to-Lemo conversion patch panel. We can buy a set of short patch cables in the DAQ budget.
• Michael: Jie has made a few more changes on the base to reduce some of the noise. They'll produce another 20 prototype bases next.
