  • model in CAD
  • talking to a vendor about collimator 4 (currently modelled as pure W (60 W))
  • braze 4 blocks then machine the cylinder (150 mm thick stuff)
  • Questions
    • Do blockers need to be cooled?
    • What current(s) will they run at? 20 uA for 30 min or up to 70uA?
      • Needed within 2-3 weeks
    • Stainless steel to actuate the blockers? Bellows?
      • Add to ferrous materials group tasks
    • need to know the radiation dose as well for material of bushings
