• possibility of lanthanum oxide for mixing with collimator tungsten (1%)
  • need to be careful with neutron capture and the production of long-lived isotopes
• motion mechanism concept for the blocker and sieve shown
  • 100 mm thick
  • petals don't need to be cut out at this time
  • holes in sieve can't be smaller than 20:1 thickness to diameter
• want a prototype collimator that could be the actual collimator
