TID calculations compared for concrete, barite concrete and barite
- Checking the vertex distribution at large R at the beginning and end of DS magnet using currently available virtual planes
- Need to verify if they are punching through or coming through beam pipe
Hematite can get to barite level of radiation dose for main detector area
The changes in shielding not expected to change rates in main detector signal rings. These changes mostly affect outside the detector rings and probably change rates in ring 7 (PMT)
Using thicker stainless steel can replace lead near the dump entrance
