  • Standalone photon simulations
    • double pion counts for 2 x 1 inch lucite planes: boundary hits are triggered twice so count double
    • scaling is cubic with thickness/PMT radius for pions
    • less than cubic for low energy electrons, since they range out in 1st inch
    • so ratio of photo-electrons from pions/electrons goes like thickness/PMT radius
