• Updates on pion detector studies (Elham)
  • Rotated pion detector for longitudinal design
    • 3 layers of 1 inch lucite stacked with PMT longitudinally downstream behind the lead donut
    • Photo-electron pi/e ratio is ~7% for newly rotated geometry
    • TODO: Verify that the rotation is applied correctly
    • TODO: Calculate how many pion we actually see and if we can get the statistical precision needed
• Updates on beam generator (Raj)
  • Less rate from beam generator than Moller generator in plane after showermax, which is strange
  • TODO: Look at radial distribution at detector planes around showermax
  • TODO: Look at different particle species: rate from electrons, positrons, etc
