• Updates on pion detector studies (Elham):
  • Uncertainties now make sense
  • TODO: for aluminum plate studies, plot hit.p energy distribution to check if we are just shifting rate around
  • Number of photons generated in lucite:
    • option 1: only added opticalphotons
      • TODO: only plot hit.pid == 211
    • option 2: also added secondaries, lowenergyneutrals
    • TODO: plot3d hit.x/y/z for hit.pid==0 for one event, probably from pion case
  • PMT placement
    • TODO energy cut hit.p > 2 MeV, rate weighting, cut out central beam spot, also plot as radial distribution
• Beam generator simulations (Raj)
  • no real change in location of hits on the lucite when changing shape -> might as well make it as large as possible
