Minutes

  1. (KK) This will be new meeting time until further notice.
  2. (KK) "final" MD model CAD has been sent from Michael to Larry.
  3. (all) Discussion of how to address thermal expansion related questions. Simple back-of-envelope answers assuming 10C temp swing and knowing the gaps between detector components should answer this. The heat from the HVMAPS and how that will be cooled is separate question, need to consult with Michael.
  4. (all) Plan on initial Alignment/Assembly meeting in next few weeks. Requested detailed assembly plan/Storyboard will take some time to develop. Need to assure we have open "shits" for alignment crew at the appropriate stages.
  5. (Chandika) FEA results for a new three-leg Rotator design. Things generally look quiet acceptable, but concern noted about unexplained left-right asymmetry in deflections (given the left-right symmetry of Rotator + load).
