Participants: R. Conaway, P. King, M. Gericke, S. Chatterjee, C. Ghosh, A. Sen, K. Dehmelt, D. Armstrong, H. Liu, D. McNulty

  • Simona has the VTP trigger for the SPE study back from Ben, and will be testing it next week
  • Paul still hasn't gotten the shipping set up for the VXS crates to go to JLab. He will try to get this going before our next meeting
  • Hanjie reports that Paul Letta is starting to set up the new server for the test lab. She estimates that CODA would be running on the new server the week after next
  • No substantial update from SBU. We have had an email exchange with Alexandre, and he thinks that SBU ought to be able keep the MPD they have now (borrowed from Alexandre). If they are still getting requests from someone to return it, they should let Bob and Paul who it is making the request, to follow up with them
  • No update from UMass. Sayak is waiting on a repaired FADC module from JLab.
  • Chandan and David report that they have significant data for the MOLLER GEM prototypes (both #1 and #2) in the test lab
    • The raw data can be decoded, and they are working on the details of the strip mapping needed to do
    • Chandan would like to use a VTP in this test stand. Either Bob or Ben should have the other two VTPs that we bought for MOLLER (one was sent to SBU). Using one of those for the GEM readout should be fine.
  • Dustin is working on the segment patch panels. He is thinking about bringing one of the prototypes to the collaboration meeting, and Sayak would bring it back to UMass afterwards
  • Dustin and Michael are planning another round of radiation damage testing for the bases
  • The FADC contract for the latest award from JLab has been awarded, and the OU procurement team is working on the piggy-back order for our 28 modules. Paul hopes that we'd have it awarded by our next meeting.
  • Michael shows the prototypes of the externally mounted DC/DC converters.
  • Michael has had some further discussion with Ben about using the VTPs with the HVMAPS readout. It seems like the VTPs would not quite be fast enough for this application
