  1. Discussions with M. Pitt & J. Musson to understand the beam monitor signals we'll be getting
  2. Draft timing diagram: DocDB 790
  3. Michael, Bob, Brynne, and Paul should put together a list of the integrator running modes we would like to have available

Minutes

Recording at zoomgov: [1]

Participants: W. Gu, P. King, R. Michaels, B. Shaw, C. Cuevas, D. Bishop, J. Pan, M. Gericke, C. Zorn

  • Bryerton
    • Has been doing some cleanup in the work that had been rushed to finish for the beam test
    • Verified the EMMC boot process
    • The QSFP has been tested, but he's still waiting on the Comblock IP. The order went out and was received, but he hasn't heard back from either Comblock or the TRIUMF requisitions folks
    • Hasn't looked at the TI routines yet
  • Michael
    • Still analyzing the Mainz data, no results to report yet
  • Jie
    • Received the new integrated amplifier and base; both the current mode and event mode amplifiers look good so far
  • Update of the replacement amps for the ADC modules
    • Digikey had estimated delivery at the beginning of August, and it would be probably 2 weeks to change the components on the module. The full boards should be ready to ship out ~end of August
    • TRIUMF will ship one board to JLab now, so we can start CODA work
      • With the incorrect amps, you still see the response, it is just much smaller than was expected. So we could still do quite a bit of the initial CODA testing with the wrong ones installed
      • When the replacement amplifiers are available, Chris will have someone available to do the amplifier swap
      • When Bryerton has the firmware update for the TI, we'll update the firmware on it
      • Paul has now heard back from the computer center---all of the network ports in TEDF ought to support 60W PoE, so powering the board should work fine
      • Chris thinks it is okay to have the naked board for bench-top testing; eventually we'll need to go through the electronics registration process
