- Updates to the geometry made by Devi. Previous work was done by Vassu and then Sakib: slide 4
- Background compared from the old SAM, new SAM, and no SAM geometry
- Background with asymmetric field maps (worst-case scenario) needs to be checked for a realistic estimate of backgrounds from SAM
- Jim raised significant concern about activation of aluminum due to neutrons from the dump and suggested a local activation study
- Jim pointed out that neutron background may be missing the contribution from the dump on the plots shown. Devi will check
- Radiation dose estimated using two different methods shown in slide 20, using Ciprian’s radiation dose script. The study will be repeated for asymmetric field map
