• Activity updates
  • Hanjie reports that Chandan had started working with the GEM test stand at UMass
  • I'm still working on getting orders put through, currently working on the VME CPUs
  • We still need to figure out where the MPDs need to be located, and what kind of shielding they need to be in.
• Restarting the counting mode daq design document
  • I will pull the trigger concept discussions into the daq design document
• General discussion
  • For next meeting, Hanjie will present a summary of what she's learned about working with the VTP
  • Discussion of how we want to readout the FADCs
    • Probably we want to readout the full waveform of the pulse ("raw mode"?) initially
    • Later we might use the pulse integral mode, but that's mostly used to keep deadtime low, and that's not a big concern for the counting mode, as we can fairly easily just turn the current down or prescale the triggers
