- Updates on pion detector studies (Elham)
- Beam generator simulations (Raj)
Attendance
Elham, Wouter, David, Carl
Minutes
- Updates on pion detector studies (Elham)
- Larger uncertainties on rate when using chunking
- But why? this is the beam generator and should not have any weighting effects
- TODO: look at number of events before scaling into rates, then look at rate itself
- Potentially large rates for only a few events that are shown in scatter plots
- TODO: Could create histogram of rate (for moller generator) to find high rate events
- But wait, beam generator: each point is "fair statistical sample" with equal weight
- Are there pions that reach the lucite in the beam benerator?
- TODO: Only look at electrons/positrons, not the other types.
- Visualization still not working
- TODO: Instead of visualization, just turn up /tracking/verbose for those single events
- Larger uncertainties on rate when using chunking
